DISCOVER SUMMER AT CIAMPAC!

Saturday 15 June 2024 the lifts of Ciampac reopen: activities, thematic routes, playground and a whole range of excursions are waiting for you!

Summer 2024 at Ciampac promises to be a summer full of emotions. Once you reach the 2160 meters of the Ciampac basin, or going up to the 2428 meters of Sella Brunech, you will be spoiled for choice. A great variety of excursions, also suitable for the little ones: from the simple walk on the ridge that takes you to Buffaure, to the beautiful tour up to Col Bel. And for the more experienced hikers there is the equipped Lino Pederiva path, which allows you to reach the quiet San Nicolò Pass, but also the path to Forcia Neigra and the renowned Ferrata dei Finanzieri. For those looking for a unique experience, different from the usual, also this year the “Out of the Box” sensory journey will be available, to fully experience the mountains and appreciate the beauty of slow time and the peace of nature.

Then there is the rich offer for families, because at Ciampac the fun is no-limits!

Just 5 minutes from the cable car mountain station you will find the CIAMPARK: a truly original playground with lots of games that you can’t find anywhere else! In addition to the classic games such as swings and slides, there are beautiful traditional wooden games to entertain both adults and children. Bowling, mini golf “by hand”, a giant version of Connect Four and much more. You can also look for precious stones in the Stream Ciampac and test yourself with giant memory and puzzles dedicated to Ciampy, the Ciampac mascot.

And this summer there will also be another surprise: an original and fun track for wooden balls, composed of an artistic structure in the shape of a majestic dragon that relaxes blissfully surrounded by the Dolomites. Through channels, holes, gears and interactive mechanisms, children will be able to manually influence the path of the ball until reaching the arrival point: the long tail!

And if the beautiful games at Ciampark weren’t enough, we also have something else to reveal to you: our thematic routes!

As soon as you reach the Ciampac basin you cannot miss seeing the beautiful wooden works of the “Driver at Ciampac” path, a thematic route for all children who want to become motor experts and receive the stamp to become part of the Ciampac team! How? Simply by filling in the magic word on the license and going to the Info Point for the official stamp.

And it is precisely at the Info Point that you will get the booklet of the second thematic route that is absolutely not to be missed. From 6 years of age upwards, a wonderful path awaits you along the panoramic ridges that connect Sella Brunech to the slopes of Crepa Neigra (the path is a bit exposed, not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo). Along the route you will find 10 stages that will allow you to make friends with Ciampy, the Ciampac chamois. If you want to receive the final prize, all you have to do is venture “On the tracks of Ciampy“!

And good things come in threes! Another thematic route will be inaugurated in June: a new itinerary dedicated to marmots, to discover all the curiosities and habits of this friendly mountain inhabitant. More details soon.

The calendar of weekly events is also very rich: let’s start on Monday with the family walk “The marmot trail” along the slopes inhabited by these funny animals. On Tuesdays you can even choose between two activities: if you want to relax and rediscover yourself, Tania is waiting for you for the integral yoga lesson. If, however, you want to take a beautiful tour of the Val di Fassa admiring all the most beautiful Dolomite peaks, thanks also to the use of the lifts, take part in the “Panoramic hike“.

On Wednesdays, for all those who want to combine healthy sport with a tasty apéritif at altitude, here is the activity for you: Aperi-Nordic. An easy walk in the Ciampac basin to discover all the benefits of Nordic walking and, afterwards, a well-deserved toast at the refuge. On Thursday we instead set out “On the chamois’ trail“, to discover little-known and unexplored areas. A panoramic circular excursion with departure and return to Ciampac. And finally, on Friday, we wait for you for “The magic of butter“: a manual workshop to do with your family to taste and learn all the secrets of this mountain delight.

In the months of July and August there will also be some unmissable events: the Circen Dolomites Festival, the highest circus festival in the Dolomites which will take place from 26 July to 2 August 2024, will come to Ciampac again this year for a funny circus show!

Then there will be two appointments with Evolution Vigolana ASD, Wednesday 31 July and Sunday 25 August 2024. Giorgia and Alberto will accompany you on a beautiful inner journey through yoga lessons and the immersive experience of sound baths.

And to end the season with a bang, in September don’t miss the “I Suoni delle Dolomiti” event at Col Bel with two very young talents: Clarissa Bevilacqua and Vicki Powell.
